What is Relay?

Relay is a electromechanical switch that open and close circuits electromechanically or electronically. Relay have total five pins. Two pins are connected with a coil. One pin is called the common pin. It is connected with another pin which is called NC. The common pin is not connected to the other pin when relay is not working. The last pin is called normaly open (NO).
